Mininterview with Waldo Miranda

Just to know some of the DNN Experts on this site, we introduce a mininterview. A short list with questions and answers about the Expert and his DNN. This interview is done with Waldo Miranda , you can find his profile here

Where are you from? 

Sydney Australia, I run a company, ITworx Consulting Pty Ltd which is a web development company and we specialise in DNN based implementations. We have a team of 8 – 10 (depending) and an office in the Sydney downtown area. We do front and back-end DNN development as part of our projects. We leverage from modules and custom build as well, depending on what the business aim is.

What was your first DNN version you worked with? 

I first worked with DNN v4.5 (did an upgrade to 4.9 and some XMod work at the time)

What is the DNN project you are most proud of? 

I would say the sites: www.eci.net.au and www.sydneyfishmarket.com.au are two I really like. We did everything for both and still maintain them

Which Module do you like the most? 

I think I like EasyDNNnews the most just because it is a handy addition to DNN. We use to work a lot with XMod Pro but not as much now as my company custom builds modules

What would be your wish for DNN? 

Tough question… I’d say less clunky but DNN v 9 has improved the layout the way a user sees it. Leaner platform, not so heavy so it loads quicker is what I’d ask for.
